It was her second Emmy nomination and her fourth season on Orphan Black—a show on which Tatiana Maslany has played nearly a dozen different characters. Clone Clubbers everywhere were doing the math: it was Maslany’s turn to take home that Outstanding Lead Actress award… and when she finally did, social media exploded.
EW claims that, “according to Facebook, more than nine million users had 14 million interactions focusing on the Emmys, and the No. 1 person on the social media site was Maslany. She was also No. 1 on Twitter, where users reacted to the Canadian actress’ first Emmy win for her critically acclaimed performance and impassioned acceptance speech.”
